The VINHOOD Buyer Challenge is an annual competition involving the buyers of a winery, aimed at finding new purchasers, increasing sales, and enhancing customer loyalty. During a trade fair, the staff engages the buyers with the Taste Test, through which they can register to receive updates on the competition. At the end of the year, there will be prizes awarded to the top participants.
The Tasting Path allows participants to follow a guided tasting journey, viewing one product at a time based on their taste preferences (#Character). It starts with less alcoholic and complex products, progressing to more structured ones, and concludes with sweet options. To unlock the next product, customers must provide feedback on the one they just tasted and have the opportunity to answer a short quiz.
- Taste Test: in less than a minute, through a few simple questions, this test explores your preferences and eating habits to define your Taste Identity. This includes the #TasteProfiles, essential for guiding you in selecting and enjoying your favorite products on any occasion.
- Expert Test: a quick and immediate test like the classic Taste Test, but with more technical questions, tailored to your higher level of product knowledge. You can access it by answering the first question of the Taste Test and clicking: “No, let me tell you what I like!”
- Recipe Test: this is divided into Recipe Search and Ingredient Test. Users can choose a recipe from our database, which contains thousands, and see which profile and wine pair best with it. The Ingredient Test allows users to create a recipe they plan to prepare and discover the perfect pairing.
The Taste Characters are a system designed to simplify the complex language of products, making it accessible and connected to personal preferences and consumption moments. While it’s easy to get to know products, the way they are described often becomes complicated. The Taste Characters aim to bridge personal taste with the ideal product, allowing people to talk about what they love in a simple and personalized way.
